Montezuma's Surfers Paradise: Reviews & Ratings
Absolutely fantastic experience at Montezuma’s Surfers Paradise! The service was exceptional — the chef and waiter were enthusiastic, engaging, and genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Such a family-friendly venue with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious with huge servings. Couldn’t fault it. 10/10!
We visited Montezuma’s on Monday night and had a great experience. It was $10 margaritas, I had the Midori Marg and my partner had a spicy Marg - we couldn’t fault these they were delicious. For entree we had the jalapeno poppers, they tasted fresh and very spicy which was nice. For mains we shared the Fajitas as we weren’t overally hungry, the flavour was very nice and the ingredients tasted fresh. It was a nice evening so we sat outside. Being a weeknight we understand there not being as many staff on, so food and drink took a little longer but it didn’t bother us. I would recommend and visit again.
Highly recommend going there it was our first time. The food was amazing and the service was so good. Our waitress was so funny and so helpful. If you’re looking for a great Mexican would definitely recommend you. Check them out.
We attended on a Thursday night for the 2 for 1 main meal deal. It was quite busy and service was very slow. We waited a while for drinks and even longer for our food. It appeared that everyone was having the same problem as a few people were grumbling. We've dined here many times over the years and had mostly excellent food and service so maybe this was an off night. We both chose fajitas. The food was delicious but my fajitas sauce was too hot to eat. I asked for 5 out of 10 so I will go for mild next time! The decor is excellent and we opted for indoor dining for the air conditioning but the outdoor area also has a nice breeze. This is a small family owned business that deserves to be supported, so we will keep going back. The food is great compared with other Mexican restaurants we've been to. Total cost $64 for 2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks.
Have been coming here for years. They do the best deals as well throughout the week. One of the best Mexican restaurants on the gold coast. They’re about to celebrate 30 years. Visited tonight and had the best server, Pamela. Couldn’t recount Pamela & montezumas enough
From the service to the food... Incredible! The food have huge servings, came out hot and fresh ! Margheritas were on point They have incredible deals throughout the week. Recommend! Will be back again
If wanting to choose a cocktail can’t better the mango cocktail definitely one of the best tasting cocktails I’ve had ever
I ordered a burrito + enchilada with rice and guacamole + sour cream. (I had already eaten some in the photo below, that was not how it came) This was my main meal and it was so delicious and definitely value for money, consider the large portion size. The rice was delicious and so was the guacamole. The chips and dip was a starter which was quite an unexpected large portion would definitely order to share amongst others. I ordered a mango mocktail, tasted very nice like a slushy with sugar on the rim of the glass. The service was great as the staff were friendly and informative. The restaurant is air conditioned, Mexican themed , and offers outdoor seating as well. We were a bit sketchy at first due to not many people in the restaurant (mind you it was a Monday night) but we were surprised and impressed, definitely recommend!
